Thank you for your interest in my Winter 'Half' Sessions!!

So... what exactly is a 'half' session???

Well... they are not quite a full session, but MUCH better than a mini one!!

These packages are perfect for those wanting to update their photos with beautiful images by an award winning family photographer (me!!!!!). They are super fun and will give you a range of beautiful images which celebrate your unique and loving family. You are not constrained to a quick 10 minute session on a set day, but get a choice of locations and dates - and we have a full 30 minutes to settle in a grab the best shots! They are designed for up to 5 people only and take place an hour or so before sunset.

When it comes to choosing your final images you can choose a little or a lot, and adding on prints is really easy. Prices are much cheaper than my full sessions, so they are great value too!! I only offer half sessions in the winter months (and this year only August), so grab them while you can!

How does it all work?

• Choose your location (Port Hills, Halswell Quarry, Beach) and contact me to book in a date.
• Sessions take place within 2 hours of sunset, to get those golden tones, on Sundays through to Thursdays.
• Pay your $50 session fee. This secures your date and covers the session only (it is non-refundable).
• I'll contact you the day before the session to do a weather check and confirm the time.
• Within 2 weeks, you'll be sent a link to a time limited online gallery to choose your favourite images and add-ons from.
• I'll prepare your final images, add a black and white version of each file, and order your prints.
• You'll receive a notification when your high resolution files are ready to download and your prints are ready to collect!

Half sessions are great!! But, if you are looking for something more creative, more candid and in a variety of spots/locations, or want to add more family members, please consider my usual family sessions. These last for 1 - 1.5 hours and we pack a whole lot more in!!  

Terms & conditions

• Sessions will be limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• Sessions are up to 30 minutes long and generally held in the last 2 hours of daylight (known as the golden hours), so it’s best to wrap up warm!! 
• Sessions are limited to 5 people per session (but you can bring your dogs for free!)
• Your session must take place before 31st August 2021.
• Your session will take place in 1 spot within your chosen location. Please be aware, your chosen option may change if weather conditions are unsavoury and some locations are not suitable for young children.
• Your session maybe re-scheduled due to poor weather - I will keep in touch with you close to the time of your session and we’ll make that decision together.
• Please be on time for your session as some sessions will run back-to-back and lateness may result in a shorter session.
• The session fee is non-refundable and secures your session.
• Within 1 - 2 weeks of of your session, you will be presented with an online digital gallery of approx. 35 - 40 fully edited images to choose from.
• Your chosen images are provided in high resolution, in both colour and black and white and downloaded from an on-line gallery, once full payment has been received.
• Print credits must be used at the same time as when purchasing your digital images.
